All team entrants will receive a certificate of participation for the BIG Idea Competition.

There will be eight (8) written idea entries chosen for the final competition. Each finalist team member will receive a certificate of participation and acknowledgement of their finalist standing in the competition. . There will be one winner chosen for the marketing design competition who will be recognized at the Awards Ceremony. Entries that score within 10% of the finalists will be designated as Honorable Mention. CLICK HERE FOR FINAL AGENDA

The Awards Ceremony will be held on the afternoon of Tuesday, December 1st,  following the final competition held that morning at Northern State University in Aberdeen.  The Ceremony will be open to all students who participated in the general competition.  The event will include a panel of business owners who will share their entrepreneurship experiences and be available for questions from the students.  After the panel presentation, each finalist will give a short description of their business idea and then the competition results will be announced.  There will be cash prizes awarded to the top three places in the written competition. First place will receive $1,000; second place, $500; third place, $250. If the winning entry consists of a team, the prize money will be split equally among team members. College scholarships will also be awarded. The winner of the marketing design Competition will receive $500.
